Management plays a vital role in achieving success. But the question is whether modern management helps the companies to achieve desired results. And how far modern management concepts differ from concepts derived from ancient works of literature. This book examines how the ancient literature of Chanakya Niti provides solutions to modern organizational management problems. This book is focused on bringing out management concepts from Chanakya Niti. Efforts have made to show that the most of our modern organizational concepts are already used by our forefathers and it has been documented in the form of literatures, modern management concept often fails to match the Indian mind set and could not be ignored by us: our fore fathers have found solutions for each and every problem we face today and documented in different literatures. However we have failed to acknowledge the importance of this literature due to Western ideas and thoughts. We intend to study and understand the values of our ancient literature and also to use it in our daily lives. We have tried our level best to bring out the importance of Indian literature with respect to modern organizational concepts.
